EMERGENCY’s Annual Meeting

Last Friday saw the opening of EMERGENCY’s 17th Annual Meeting, the official start of two days of full immersion into the spirit of peace, human rights and dignity, practiced through the provision of free high quality healthcare to victims of war, poverty and landmines around the world.

The event was hosted in Trento, Italy, and consisted of exhibitions, interactive displays and panel discussions focused on EMERGENCY’s work building and running hospitals that bring medical excellence, training for locals, and free, high quality care to all those that need it.

The weekend was a perfect opportunity for the people that make EMERGENCY possible – staff and volunteers from all over the world – to gather and promote a culture of peace and equality through the medium of healthcare provision.
