Every year EMERGENCY UK participates in a number of races across London. Running for EMERGENCY UK is a healthy and fun way to support our cause: all you have to do is train and engage in some fundraising activities.
Are you a seasoned runner? Join EMERGENCY UK’s London Marathon Running Team! Or maybe you really like to run but are not sure how far you can go? Then the Royal Parks Half-Marathon is for you!
You don’t care about competition but you still want to enjoy the London scenery and stay fit? Sign-up for the Vitality London 10,000!
We understand that the idea of running a race can seem intimidating, but you’re not alone! EMERGENCY UK will support you every step of the way by helping you with your fundraising, posting about you on our social media, and providing you with useful training tips. Last but not least, on the race date, EMERGENCY UK staff and volunteers will support you along the track and wait for you at the finish line to celebrate your success together with your family and friends.
Despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic affecting many running events, we are continuing our sports fundraising efforts! Amazing volunteers are continuing to run for EMERGENCY despite lockdown – keeping fit and raising money for an amazing cause at the same time!

“I am a big fan of EMERGENCY UK and I really wanted to give my support to this great charity. But when they offered I ran the Richmond half marathon, I thought I couldn’t possibly do it: I was not a good runner and I did not know how to raise funds. But now that I’ve done it, I can tell everyone how great it was! During the training I felt much healthier and empowered by the challenge, and raising funds has also been fun and easy! On top of setting a online donation page, I cooked meals for friends and colleagues, collecting donations and moral support. Everyone was extremely generous and we had such a great time together.
