“When I was 14, I was picked to run a 400m race at school for “Sports-Day”. I came last. VERY last. Suffice it to say, running is definitely not my thing! And yet, as time went by and I slowly began to forget that burning humiliation feeling, I decided I wanted to try again. So when I saw I could do that AND raise money for this incredible charity.. I put my name down. The race itself was so great! The atmosphere was incredible and I think I ran the entire course with a huge smile on my face. I recommend a 10K run for absolutely everyone. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you I was worried about ending last… But I managed, and so can you!”
Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon 2018

The money raised with the race will help fund EMERGENCY hospitals. As an appreciation for your support you will receive an EMERGENCY UK running vest that you might choose to wear at the race.

“I am a big fan of EMERGENCY UK and I really wanted to give my support to this great charity. But when they offered I ran the Richmond half marathon, I thought I couldn’t possibly do it: I was not a good runner and I did not know how to raise funds. But now that I’ve done it, I can tell everyone how great it was! During the training I felt much healthier and empowered by the challenge, and raising funds has also been fun and easy! On top of setting a online donation page, I cooked meals for friends and colleagues, collecting donations and moral support. Everyone was extremely generous and we had such a great time together. Thank you EMERGENCY UK, running the Richmond Half Marathon was one of the best experiences ever!”
