Work at the field hospital in Bergamo continues.

Here’s Dr Gina Portella, EMERGENCY’s COVID-19 Response Medical Coordinator. Behind her is the new Intensive Care Unit (ICU), which EMERGENCY will manage. The first patients are set to arrive in the next few days. Together with Associazione Nazionale Alipini, AREU (Azienda Regionale Emergenza Urgenza), and the volunteers of Confartigianato Imprese Bergamo, we are working around the clock to be ready as soon as possible.

We aren’t just working hard, we are working with a huge collective spirit. As our president Rossella said yesterday, “the construction of the field hospital in Bergamo is a true marathon of solidarity.”
