BBC Report on Kabul Surgical Centre

Kabul is at the epicentre of the conflict in Afghanistan. In 2018, civilian deaths across the country reached a record high, with the capital city targeted in multiple mass casualty attacks.

BBC News spent time with ambulance workers in the city and followed patients to their destination: EMERGENCY’s Kabul Surgical Centre. The hospital is a vital facility, providing free, high-quality treatment to those suffering from war injuries.
