Complimenti from EMERGENCY UK at Italy Run London 2026!

Earlier this month, more than 1,500 runners were joined by their friends and families in Victoria Park to celebrate sport, the Italian community in the UK, and giving back to organisations making a difference.

We were honoured to be invited as a charity partner at Italy Run London, an annual race organised by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in the UK. As an international humanitarian organisation originally founded in Italy, it was an incredibly special day to share more about EMERGENCY’s work to provide life-saving healthcare to people affected by conflict and poverty around the world.

Whilst runners took part in a series of races – including a 10k, 5k and children’s run – we gathered in the event village, celebrating with the enthusiastic crowd over some of the finest Italian food London.

Thank you to everyone who organised, volunteered, cheered and supported, and a special complimenti from EMERGENCY UK to all the runners! Events like Italy Run London demonstrate the power of communities coming together with solidarity and joy to make a real difference for those who need it most.
