ISHKAR Launch Photography Print Sale for Afghanistan

Our amazing friends at ISHKAR have launched a stunning photography print sale for the third year in a row, with all proceeds going towards EMERGENCY’s projects in Afghanistan. 19 internationally-renowned photographers have donated their work, including Steve McCurry, Zahra Khodadadi, Lorenzo Tugnoli, Farshad Usyan, Andrew Quilty, Elise Blanchard, Matthieu Paley, Michael Christopher Brown, and many more.

“I can think of few greater humanitarian organisations than the EMERGENCY hospitals in Afghanistan which have operated continuously throughout the turbulence ofthe past year. When many fled the country, EMERGENCY doubled down on their commitment to care for Afghans as they have since 1999.”

Steve McCurry

Afghanistan is in the midst of a humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by last week’s devastating earthquake. Despite the circumstances, EMERGENCY’s network of healthcare facilities is still providing urgently needed medical care for the Afghan people, and training a new generation of Afghan medical professionals.

Last year’s print sale by ISHKAR raised an extraordinary £90,000. We are aiming to match that figure again. This is an opportunity to show solidarity with the people of Afghanistan during the most difficult of times.
The sale consists of high-quality prints at special one-off prices, which are available to order until 15 August.
