“A New Piece of EMERGENCY’s Story Has Begun”.

“EMERGENCY has always dreamed of building a hospital here in Uganda and, today, that dream is finally a reality,” says Lorenzo, standing next to the walls of the new Entebbe Children’s Hospital. It was not an easy process, one that started over three years ago in collaboration with Renzo Piano, who designed the facility with the principles of quality and sustainability at its heart.

“I still remember all the colleagues that have contributed to planning this – a project that has always centered around children and their parents”.

Lorenzo’s words encapsulate the very essence of EMERGENCY’s Children’s Surgical Hospital in Entebbe, combining beauty, dignity and excellence in the process of care.
