Beyond the Beach: The Hell and the Hope is a film about people who are unique in what they do and united by one idea – to ensure health in the midst of crises, taking care of those in need to restore hope.

It is a film that talks about the brutality of war, poverty, loss in the Mediterranean, but also about beauty. Not of heroes but of normal people – doctors, nurses, logisticians – who go beyond, beyond the inevitable suffering and difficulties. They choose to make their lives a struggle for the right to healthcare for those who have none and, ultimately, a struggle for peace.
