16 extraordinary photographers. 24 images showing a side of Afghanistan rarely seen in the news. London-based social enterprise Ishkar has launched a photography print sale fundraiser in support of EMERGENCY’s projects in Afghanistan.
The images have been generously donated by internationally-renowned photographers and depict moments of normality and extraordinary beauty in Afghanistan, a country that has been tormented by conflict for over 40 years. EMERGENCY runs a network of hospitals, first aid posts and health clinics in the country, where it has treated over 7 million patients since 1999.
Prints are for sale online at special, one-off prices for a limited six-week period.
