EMERGENCY Volunteer Wins Viacom Award

We are pleased to share that Elena Nebiolo, an EMERGENCY volunteer, has been honoured with the “2018 Viacommunity Award Prize”.

Elena began volunteering with EMERGENCY three years ago. Since then, she has contributed to fundraising and communications, including projects in the field in order to create online content, motivated by the dual purpose of peace and human rights.

According to her employer, Viacom, Elena stood out last year by embodying the company’s spirit and values, not just in terms of creativity and teamwork skills, but also for her belief in positive change. This is reflected in the time she has spent supporting EMERGENCY’s cause: to provide quality, free of charge medical assistance to the victims of war, landmines and poverty.
