In the wake of the tragedy in Christchurch, EMERGENCY expresses its sympathy for the families of the victims, and to the people of New Zealand.
EMERGENCY Has Treated Eight Million People
From Afghanistan to Sierra Leone, Bangui to Sulaymaniyah, the generosity of our donors and dedication of our staff have led to free, high quality healthcare for 8 million people. That’s the number that we have treated so far – an extraordinary figure – and there are no plans to slow down. There are still far too many people around the world that do not have access to medical care – a fundamental human right.
We are committed to going further: building new facilities, training even more staff, and treating the next 8 million people that enter through our doors. None of this is possible without your support, so from everyone at EMERGENCY UK: thank you.
